Donation information

The Qumran Foundation operates the Dokuforte website as a nonprofit venture, and we allocate your donations entirely to sustain our operations.

Your donation assists us in preserving the visual heritage of Jews and Israelis by locating, collecting, and digitizing photographs from individuals, families, professional photographers, and public institutions. Dokuforte is an entirely free-to-use community photo archive.

For bank transfer

• For international transfers: IBAN: HU15 1040 3411 5052 6988 7065 1011 (please include the following text in the reference field: "Donation").

The method and purpose of collecting donations

• Donations are managed by the following payment service provider: Barion Payment Zrt., 1117 Budapest, Infopark sétány 1.
• You can donate through the bank card payment interface provided by Barion Payment Zrt., via direct bank transfer, or by bank transfer at a bank branch or post office.
• You can deposit any of the amounts listed on the site or any specified amount.
• Donations can be made in HUF, EUR, or USD currency.

Personal data

• By donating, you consent to us storing the necessary data for the donation process. We collect the following data: email address, donation amount, and donation date. You can find further information about data storage in the data management guidelines.

Withdrawing the donation

• Every donor has the right to request a refund of the donation within 7 days of payment if the money is mistakenly sent to us. To request a refund, please email us at: dokuforte@dokuforte.com. The refund will be processed within 30 days at most. Please include the following words in the subject line: "Donation withdrawal".

Cancelling the recurring donation

• Every donor has the right to cancel the recurring donation at any time. To request cancel, please email us at: dokuforte@dokuforte.com. Your card will not be charged in the future. Please include the following words in the subject line: "Donation Cancel".

Payment Security

• We ensure the security of payments with a secure SSL certificate, similar to banks. As a result, all transmitted information is encrypted. For payments, we use the secure Barion payment service provider.

Online bank card payments are executed via the Barion system. The merchant does not get and store bank card data. Barion Payment Inc., the provider of this service, is an institution under the authority of the Central Bank of Hungary, its license number is: H-EN-I-1064/2013.
