Friedrich Born has represented the International Red Cross in Hungary since May 1944. It carries out serious Jewish rescue activities. During the Arrow rule, he placed several buildings and residential buildings under the protection of the International Red Cross, and he cooperated closely with the Zionist resistance. In 1987, Yad Vashem awarded him the Righteousness of the World award.
